About Us

Situated within the family run Castaway Resort is Castaway Divers. Run by an English/Dutch couple, Tony and Mariska, they teach and guide all customers personally to ensure all customers get as much personal attention as needed and maintain the highest standards of safety, customer service and quality.

Update: Low Season

We will be open for diving and snorkelling trips for the low season from now until November 1st. Please contact us in advance so we can advise you on ferry time tables and accommodation.

During July and August we are closed from July 1st - 9th and July 18th until August 9th.

Where We Dive

Tarutao National Marine Park, Asia's newest and unspoiled tropical diving destination has an amazing variety of dive sites with depths ranging from 5-50 metres. What ever type of diving interests you, whether its wreck diving, drift diving, deep diving or if you just want to potter about taking photos of your favorite marine life the Marine Park has dive sites to suit.

Equipment

We are the only dive centre on Koh Lipe to use Halcyon wings system as standard. No other system in the world provides better balance or less drag than the Halcyon wings system. It's an approach to buoyancy compensation that is the right choice for your first open water checkout dive and it's the same type of BC that you will take on dive 1000. Halcyon wings system can be fine tuned to fit any diver and any type of dive.

All our dive equipment is new for the 2007/ 2008 season.

Our Dive Boat

Purpose built for diving, our spacious long tail boat is fully equipped for fast, comfortable day trips to all the dive sites in the area.
