Where better to learn to scuba dive than among the beautiful coral reefs and clear, warm waters of the Andaman Sea. Within a few days you can be transformed from land lover to being a certified SDI or PADI Open Water scuba diver.

Scuba diving is an exciting and dynamic pursuit with a multitude of different activities to suit everyone's interest, such as photography, wreck diving or deep diving to name but a few.

Castaway Divers offers a complete range of SDI and PADI dive courses. We take a maximum of 4 student divers per instructor, we feel this makes for a safer and more relaxed environment for you and for us.

Before You Dive

Learning how to dive is safe and easy. But before you can get started there are a few things we would like to point out. Anybody who is doing a PADI dive course or program will be asked to fill out a form with questions about their medical history. If you have to answer YES to any of these questions, you will need to see a physician to check whether you are allowed to dive or not. Since there is no full time doctor/physician on Koh Lipe, this is sometimes a problem. To avoid any disappointment you can download the medical questionnaire here. If you have any doubts, please consult your physician before your holiday and get a written approval.
